Hamburger Pie Recipe

INGREDIENTS:

• 1 can cream of mushroom soup
• 1 lb. hamburger
• 1/4 c. finely chopped onion
• 1 egg, slightly beaten
• 1/4 c. bread crumbs
• 2 tbsp. chopped parsley
• 1/4 tsp. salt
• Dash of pepper
• 2 c. mashed potatoes
• 1/4 c. shredded mild cheese
• Bacon crumbs

DIRECTIONS :

1. Mix thoroughly 1/2 can soup, beef, onions, eggs, bread crumbs, parsley and seasoning.
2. Press firmly into 9 inch pie plate.
3. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
4. Spoon off fat. Frost with potatoes, top with remaining soup and cheese.
5. Bake 10 minutes.
6. Top with bacon if desired.
